VIB Vermögen AG: 9M/2013 further growth in operating revenue and consolidated net income

Neuburg/Donau (pta007/14.11.2013/07:30 UTC+1) November 14, 2013 - VIB Vermögen AG, a company specialising in commercial real estate portfolio management, continued its positive corporate trend in the third quarter. VIB Vermögen AG generated EUR 47.9 million of revenue during the first nine months of the year (9M/2012: EUR 43.7 million), representing 9.6 % year-on-year growth. The takeover of two new properties in Erlangen in July this year, which more than offset the disposal of the property in Günzburg at the start of this year, contributed to this growth, in particular. Total operating revenue grew to EUR 48.2 million as of September 30 (9M/2012: EUR 44.0 million).

After taking into account other expenses and income, earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) of EUR 36.8 million were up by approx. 2.6 % (9M/2012: EUR 35.8 million). The net interest result rose only slightly - by EUR 265 thousand - to EUR -14.9 million, despite an increase in debt accompanying investment activities (9M/2012: EUR -14.6 million). At the bottom line, the Group generated earnings before tax (EBT) of EUR 23.0 million (+7.4 %, 9M/2012: EUR 21.4 million), and 7.6 % growth in consolidated net income to reach EUR 19.3 million (9M/2012: EUR 17.9 million). Earnings per share (undiluted) improved by 13.0 % year-on-year to EUR 0.87 (EUR 0.77).

Excluding value changes to investment properties (EUR 1.4 million), extraordinary deconsolidation items (EUR 1.0 million) and income from the measurement of financial derivatives (EUR 0.2 million), the Group generated EUR 35.4 million of adjusted EBIT in the first nine months of its current financial year (9M/2012: EUR 32.1 million). In particular, the renewed increase in adjusted EBT of 17 %, from EUR 17.5 million to EUR 20.4 million, reflects the company's sustainable and high operating strength.

Accordingly, the company confirms its forecast for the full 2013 year, and assumes operating revenue of between EUR 63 million and EUR 64 million, EBIT of between EUR 46 million and EUR 47 million, and EBT of between EUR 26 million and EUR 27 million (in each case before valuation and one-off effects).

Ludwig Schlosser, CEO of VIB Vermögen AG, expressed his satisfaction with the company's progress: "Our continuous and sustainable growth is again reflected in our higher corporate figures.
