Wienerberger AG announces personnel changes in the area of corporate communications. Karin Steinbichler has been appointed to head the Corporate Communications Department as the successor to Barbara Braunöck. In this function she will be responsible for all external and internal communication issues at Group level.
Karin Steinbichler (38) has been with Wienerberger AG in various corporate communications and Group marketing positions since 2007. Since her return from maternity leave in September 2013, she has held responsibility for external communications as press spokesperson in the Corporate Communications Department. Before joining Wienerberger, she worked for more than five years with Ecker & Partner, Agentur für Öffentlichkeitsarbeit und Public Affairs, last serving as Unit Leader and Senior Consultant.
Barbara Braunöck supports integration of Tondach Gleinstätten and Wienerberger
Barbara Braunöck (43) has been appointed Integration Manager at Tondach Gleinstätten, where she will support common projects between Wienerberger and the Tondach Group, above all in the areas of administration, controlling and finance. Barbara Braunöck, who has been with Wienerberger for eight years, previously served as the head of the Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Departments. Prior to joining Wienerberger, she worked in consulting for nine years, including six with KPMG Financial Advisory Services.
