iQ International AG: iQ International AG´s AGM takes place 15th November / Three new Board members

The Annual General Meeting of Swiss based battery producer, iQ International AG (ISIN CH0451424300 / WKN A2PAA5 / Symbol IQL), takes place on 15th November. Three new Board Members are up for election. iQ International is pleased to have won three very experienced and highly reputed business managers for the election to the Board: Roland Koch, Frank Sportolari, and Christian Katz. Once elected they will be joining the current board of George Weiss, Won-Lak Choi and Gilles Thièry. With this new Board, iQ International underlines that the company has strong plans for the future with highly successful people backing it. Kevin T. Loman will be stepping off the Board and will continue as the Company's CEO and head of the Executive Board.

Roland Koch: From 1987 onwards, Mr. Koch served as a Member of the Hessian parliament. ln 1999, Mr. Koch was appointed Premier of the Federal State of Hessen and held this position until 2010, when he left politics altogether. From 2011 to 2014, Mr. Koch served as Chairman of the Executive Board at Bilfinger SE, Mannheim. Between 2011 and 2016, he served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UBS Deutschland AG and is now Chairman of the Supervisory Board of UBS Europe SE. Additionally, he is a member of the Supervisory Board of Vodafone Deutschland GmbH and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Peter-Dussmann-Foundation (Facility-Service-Group). Next to other charitable engagements, Mr. Koch founded the Deutsche Tuberöse Sklerose Stiftung together with his wife in 2013. Mr. Koch has his own office as attorney at law in Frankfurt am Main and is Professor of Management Practice in Regulated Environments at the Frankfurt School of Finance. Since 2019, Mr. Koch is a member of the Advisory Board of Circuits LLP. Since November 2019, he is a Member of the Capital Markets Committee and Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Frank Sportolari: Before joining UPS in 1986, he worked six years as a Logistics Manager for the US Department of Defense in Germany. Mr. Sportolari joined UPS in Munich, Germany, in 1986 and held various positions of increasing responsibility within the Finance and Accounting function, including working as a Controller in Munich, Cologne and Neuss for UPS in Germany. In 1996, he moved to Madrid, where he was the Controller for UPS Spain & Portugal. This was followed by Controller assignments at UPS ltaly and a position as Vice President of European Strategy at the UPS European Coordination Center in Brussels, where he coordinated the activities of the UPS Controllers across the Europe Region. In 2007, Mr. Sportolari returned to Italy as managing director, a position which he held until September 2011. During this time, he served as a board member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Italy. In September of 2011, Mr. Sportolari was appointed to his current position as President of UPS Germany. In April 2018, he was elected President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany. Additionally, he serves as vice chairman of the CDU Business Council International Commission and on the boards of several industry and charitable organizations. He is a start-up mentor at the Founder Institute Cologne Chapter. Since November 2019, he is a Member of the Strategic Operations Committee, Compensation Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company.

Christian Katz: From 1993 to 1997, Mr. Katz worked as an investment banker in the field of Institutional Equities & Derivatives Sales, ECM, Credit Risk Management at SBC Warburg in Zürich and Hongkong. From 1997 to 1998, he served as a Senior Manager for the London Forfaiting Company PLC, the world's leading trade debt and credit trading company in London and Hongkong. From 1998 to 2006, Mr. Katz held the Position of Vice President, Head of Research Marketing Europe for Equities, Bonds and Derivates at JP Morgan in London. After relocating to Switzerland in 2006, he was Managing Director at Goldman Sachs International, where he ran the representative office in Switzerland and ran the institutional sales team. From 2009 to 2015, Mr. Katz served as CEO of SIX Swiss Exchange and Member of the SIX Group Executive Board, Switzerland's integrated exchange and infrastructure group. During this time he also served as Vice Chairman of STOXX and Scoach as well as Board Member and later President of the Federation of European Securities Exchanges in Brussels, Belgium. In 2015, Mr. Katz became Vice Chairman of the Board of Saxo Bank, Zürich, Switzerland. Since 2016, he is Founder, Chairman and Managing Partner at MainStrait, Zürich, a finance and fintech focused consulting firm. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Board Member at XTP. Since 2017, he is a Board Member at the Banque Bonhote, Neuchatel, Switzerland, a private banking and wealth management bank. Since 2018, he is Executive Chairman at Blockworks/Swiss Crypto Exchange in Zürich, which is the first regulated crypto and token exchange in Switzerland. Since 2019, Mr. Katz is also a Board Member at Dreyfus Sons & Cie. Banquiers, Basel, Switzerland, a private banking and wealth management bank. Since November 2019, he is a Member of the Capital Markets Committee and the Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of the Company.
