Altech Advanced Materials AG: Result of the rights offering which expired on 8 June 2020

Heidelberg (pta025/09.06.2020/17:10 UTC+2) Altech Advanced Materials AG ("AAM / the Company") (FRA: AMA1), in continuation of the capital market announcement of May 19, 2020, the Company hereby announces that it has received subscriptions of approximately EUR 0.74 million in the rights issue resolved by the Annual General Meeting on March 12, 2020. The capital increase with subscription rights is now to be registered immediately with the Commercial Register. The company's share capital will amount to around EUR 2.32 million after registration. Considering there are less than 200 shareholders and the current COVID-19 impact on financial markets, the Company is satisfied with the amount raised from the rights issue. The most important milestone is that having completed the rights issue the Company can now carry out subsequent capital raisings via share placement.

The Company looks forward to commencing the roadshow and marketing campaign to raise the balance amount to finance the planned acquisition of up to 49% of the shares in Altech Chemicals Australia Pty Ltd. There are numerous capital groups that have been mandated, including an international Swiss bank to progress the capital raising process.
