Berlin (25.09.2020/15:00) - The Supervisory Board of Blockchain Infrastructure Group AG has appointed Mr. Jörgen Andersson as CEO. Mr. Andersson's appointment will take effect immediately and Mr. Thomas Short will be stepping down. The board thanks him for his service.

Jörgen Andersson, a Swedish national, was educated at the Gothenburg School of Economics, continuing at the University of New York. In his early career he managed his own construction company in Sweden, following a career as a financial analyst at Paine Webber. Mr. Andersson has also been the Vice President for the OECD Parliamentary Network, served as President of the IMF Parliamentary Network and served on the Swedish Parlament's Committee of Finance.

Recently Mr. Andersson has been engaged in various roles relating to cryptocurrency and blockchain technology including a large scale mining operation in Scandinavia.

This appointment marks the start of a new expansion of the business activities within Blockchain Infrastructure Group AG, further pursuing active opportunities for industrial blockchain applications.
