Achim Pfeffer becomes new member of the board of Philomaxcap AG

Munich, June 28, 2023: Achim Pfeffer (53) becomes new sole member of the board of Philomaxcap AG. The Supervisory Board of Philomaxcap AG (Deutsche Boerse General Standard, ISIN: DE000A1A6WB2) has appointed Mr. Achim Pfeffer as the new Chief Executive Officer with effect from July 01, 2023. Achim Pfeffer succeeds the previous sole member of the Executive Board Robert Bidwell Bibow, who resigned from his office for personal reasons as of the end of June 30, 2023.

As a lawyer and business economist, Achim Pfeffer has gained extensive management experience over the course of his career and has built up a broad network, particularly in the private equity industry. His experience in the development and implementation of investment and business strategies, in the effective and efficient management of M&A transactions, post-merger integration processes, change/turnaround situations as well as in challenging restructuring and reorganization tasks have made Achim Pfeffer a specialist in restructuring and 'distressed assets'.

In his last three careers alone, Achim Pfeffer has worked entrepreneurially as co-founder and managing partner of apaneo capital partners AG (private equity), CEO of Film House Germany AG (private equity), CEO of FIHM Fonds und Holding München AG (at the time a listed real estate group) in a remarkably broad range of industries (including FinTech, financial services, real estate, industrial services, management consulting) for small and medium-sized companies, as well as international corporations.

In this respect, the Supervisory Board is pleased to welcome Achim Pfeffer as a new member of the Executive Board of Philomaxcap AG and to work together with him.
