NEW VALUE AG: Extraordinary General Meeting for a capital increase; change in the Board of Directors

Baar, 26 March 2021 (pta006/26.03.2021/06:30 UTC+1) In order to be able to implement the planned next steps in the development of the company, the Board of Directors will propose a capital increase of up to CHF 50 million at an Extraordinary General Meeting scheduled for 16 April 2021. This resolution serves in preparation of a subsequent contribution in kind of participations in private companies active in the field of digital content creation. The project is currently in the detail planning phase and the company will inform accordingly.
Furthermore, the election of Mr. Roman Scharf as Chairman of the Board of Directors will be proposed at the Extraordinary General Meeting. The current Chairman of the Board of Directors, Hans van den Berg, has announced his resignation. Under his chairmanship, the Board of Directors has succeeded in restructuring the company in recent years, ensuring its continued existence and initiating further development.
About Roman Scharf
Roman Scharf is a founder and partner of 3VC. He has worked in different management positions in European companies before initiating his own VoIP-Sartup Jajah in 2005 which was taken over by Telefonica in 2009. Before Jajah, Roman Scharf was co-founder and head of Ecotech Software in Germany.
