VIB Vermögen AG: VIB Vermögen AG sells "Gewerbepark Günzburg" property

Neuburg/Danube (pta010/15.04.2013/10:05 UTC+2) April 15, 2013 - VIB Vermögen AG, a company specialising in commercial real estate portfolio management, has sold its "Gewerbepark Günzburg" property as part of a share deal with effect as of January 1, 2013. This transaction forms part of the Group's strategic optimisation of its portfolio. Confidentiality about the sale price was agreed with the purchaser. The property underlying this asset disposal is valued at 3 % above its IFRS carrying amount as of December 31, 2012.

VIB Vermögen AG acquired this real estate asset in 2005 when it purchased an 87.5 % interest in Gewerbepark Günzburg GmbH. The property, which is rented to logistics and industrial companies, has a rentable space of 24,154 m2. The excess liquidity resulting from the disposal is to be rapidly reinvested.

Ludwig Schlosser, CEO of VIB Vermögen AG, commented on the transaction: "The sale of Gewerbepark Günzburg harmonised with our long-term investment strategy. We have now sold the property at a profit, and we identify good potential to reinvest the proceeds in some very interesting real estate opportunities."
