Frequentis AG: FREQUENTIS appoints new Managing Director in France
Mikhael Matar will retire, handing over to Sébastien Esteve from 1 July 2024

After almost 40 years with Frequentis, ten of them as Managing Director of Frequentis France, Mikhael Matar has decided to retire. He will be succeeded by Sébastien Esteve.
Sébastien Esteve has 15 years of experience in international and strategic sales, operations, and project management. Since 2021 he was Director of the Toulouse site and Aerospace Business Unit at Atos. His role was to drive the success of the aerospace division through strategic leadership and planning, operation management and financial management. Previous positions include Key Account Manager for Airbus & ATR at SPIE ICS and Operations and Service Delivery Manager for Airbus at Xerox.
Sébastien Esteve also brings a strong technical background with an Engineer's degree in Organisation and Management of Information Technologies from École des Mines de Nantes, as well as experience from working in cross-cultural environments.
He will follow Mikhael Matar, who joined Frequentis in 1985 in the development of voice communication systems (VCS), leading many successful large-scale projects. Frequentis France was founded in 2014 at which point Mikhael was appointed Managing Director.

Frequentis France is headquartered in Toulouse with an additional office located in Paris focusing on Public Transport activities and services to SNCF.
