Vienna (pta015/09.07.2013/12:10 UTC+2) In accordance with sec. 93 (2) BörseG, Erste Group hereby informs that Morgan Stanley held on 2 July 2013 directly or indirectly shares and financial instruments relating to shares (pursuant to section 91a Stock Exchange Act), conferring 16,721,104 voting rights. Based on the pre-capital increase number of 394,568,647 voting rights this equaled 4.24% of all voting rights.

Upon registration of the capital increase on 4 July 2013 the number of total outstanding shares rose from 394,568,647 to 429,800,000. As of 4 July 2013 Morgan Stanley held directly or indirectly shares and financial instruments relating to shares (pursuant to section 91a Stock Exchange Act), conferring 16,903,212 or 3.93% of voting rights.
