Unternehmens Invest AG: UIAG acquires shareholding in Anger group

Wels (pta019/01.07.2014/18:05 UTC+2) 1 July 2014 - As of today Unternehmens Invest AG agreed on the acquisition of a 40% shareholding of mbi-group Beteiligung GmbH by means of a capital increase and financial contribution in the amount of Eur 8 million. Mbi-group Beteiligung GmbH is the owner of ANGER MACHINING GmbH, located in Traun and HPC Produktions GmbH, a manufacturer of precision parts for mechanical engineering in Seeboden.
The international mechanical engineering company ANGER MACHINING GmbH specializes in the development and manufacturing of transfer concepts. These high-speed machining systems are mainly used in the automotive industry for the machining of serial parts requiring a high level of precision. ANGER focuses on applications for engine, gearing and chassis parts in aluminum or steel.
UIAG and the previous owners plan to further expand the group of companies over the next few years. The transaction shall be closed by 30 September 2014 the latest. In the course of the transaction ownership was rearranged for the long term. UIAG has the option to increase its shareholding in mbi group to up to 70% in 2015.
