Unternehmens Invest AG: UIAG acquires shareholding of LCS Holding GmbH

Wels (pta024/26.11.2014/16:00 UTC+1) 26 November 2014 - As of today Unternehmens Invest AG acquired 30% of LCS Holding GmbH for Eur 1.32m respectively invested a total of Eur 3.32 m - including financing - in LCS-Group. LCS Holding GmbH holds 90% of both GANTNER Seilbahnbau GmbH and LCS Cable Cranes GmbH.

GANTNER Seilbahnbau GmbH and LCS Cable Cranes GmbH are two well established, affiliated companies located in Sulz, Vorarlberg. For many years Gantner develops and manufactures high-performance rope winches, carriages, pulleys and other cableway accessories in close cooperation with LCS. LCS mainly designs and develops ropeways for the transportation of heavy goods for diverse projects. LCS focuses on the development of individual, environmental sound and secure solutions mainly for hydro power plants, pipeline-constructions, dam-constructions and bridges in inaccessible terrain (mountains, rain forest, lakes or rivers). Both companies are export-oriented and serve a global customer base in eg. British Columbia, Canada, Vietnam, Mexico and India.
