Dr. Hönle AG: Hönle Group increases its Operating Result by 43 % to Eur 13.5 million

Gräfelfing/Munich (pta006/15.12.2015/06:30 UTC+1) According to preliminary figures, revenues generated by the Hönle Group in financial year 2014/2015 saw a 12.3 % increase to TEur 92,173. The operating result (EBIT) improved by 42.6 % to TEur 13,524 in the same period. While the pre-tax result climbed 56.4 % to TEur 14,023, the consolidated result grew by 58.9 % to TEur 10,320 which translates into earnings per share of Eur 1.84 (PY: Eur 1.13).
The earnings ratios thus also improved considerably in a year-on-year comparison: Despite the still negative earnings contribution on the part of Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH, the EBIT margin picked up from 11.3 % to 14.6 %. Net profit on sales grew from 7.9 % to 11.2 %.

Outlook
The forecast of future business development depends significantly on the developments in the global economy and the effectiveness of measures initiated at Raesch Quarz (Germany) GmbH. Given constant macroeconomic conditions, the Hönle Group Management Board has set a revenue target of between Eur 95 and Eur 105 million for financial year 2015/2016 and is aiming at an operating profit of Eur 13.5 to Eur 15.5 million.
With its business segments, 'Equipment and System', 'Glass and Lamps' and 'Adhesives', the Hönle Group is very well positioned. At the same time the corporate group is represented in markets which provide strong potential for further growth. Moreover, the new cooperation with SKC Co. Ltd. offers a good opportunity for further development of the adhesives market. SKC Co. Ltd. is a company of SK Group, one of the largest conglomerates in South Korea.
