Vienna
(pta028/09.03.2016/14:13 UTC+1)
The leading international rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) has now confirmed its investment grade rating BBB- for conwert Immobilien Invest SE. The outlook is stable, S&P says.
In justifying confirmation of its rating, S&P points to conwert's successful, long-term refinancing of its debt, its lower level of its total debt, the reduction of its borrowing costs to 2.3%, and its sufficient liquidity. Its strategic focus on the stable German residential property market is also considered to be positive.
"This good rating from S&P confirms the realignment of our strategy, underscores our solid balance sheet policy and strengthens our position on the capital market as one of the leading real estate groups in the German and Austrian residential real estate market," commented Thomas Doll, Executive Director and CFO of conwert.
