NEW VALUE AG: Change in valuation of portfolio companies

As stated in the press release of July 03, 2019, Sensimed SA requires additional funding. Without these additional means, the required medical studies for the commercialisation of the product in the USA and Japan and the development of a second product (which consists of a pressure sensor, integrated in a diagnostic lens, based on the same technology platform as the product Triggerfish) cannot be realised. The implementation of this financing is much more difficult than expected. To date two investors agreed to bring in new capital, though at a much lower valuation of Sensimed SA, compared to earlier financings. Their commitments however do not cover the mediumterm capital requirements of Sensimed SA and the board of Sensimed SA is therefore looking for additional investors. Due to the high pressure on Sensimed SA to close this financing, the board of New Value has decided in its meeting today to lower the valuation of Sensimed SA to match the valuation of the committed investors. This results in a further adjustment of the value of Sensimed SA of CHF 248`000.

In todays meeting the board of New Value also decided to lower the valuation of Bogar AG by
CHF 326`000, based on the company`s updated mediumterm planning.

These adjustments impair the NAV (Net Asset Value) of New Value AG by CHF 0,17 per share.
