Addiko Bank AG: Addiko to be supervised by the ECB as of October 7, 2020

The ECB has informed Addiko Bank AG today of the decision by the Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB), on the basis of a draft proposal of its Supervisory Board under Article 26(8) of Council Regulation (EU) No 1024/20131, that Addiko Bank AG in Austria as the supervised entity at the highest level of prudential consolidation, together with its subsidiaries in Croatia and Slovenia will be a significant supervised group within the meaning of point (22) of Article 2 of Regulation (EU) No468/2014 of the European Central Bank (ECB/2014/17)

This decision has been adopted pursuant to Article 6(4) of Regulation (EU) No 1024/2013 and Part IV of Regulation (EU) No 468/2014 (ECB/2014/17). As a consequence of this decision, the ECB as the competent authority will directly supervise Addiko Bank AG with effect from October 7, 2020.
