SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES Receives Significant Order for Medical Technology

Kahl am Main, 04 August 2021 - The SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG (SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES) has received a significant order for the delivery of several new processing machines from an internationally operating customer in the medical sector. The order volume is in a low double-digit € range. The prepayment for this order is expected to be received shortly.

Dr.-Ing. Stefan Rinck, CEO of SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES AG, comments: "Our customer experiences strong demand for its innovative contact lenses and further expands its capacities on the basis of the further developed machine technology by SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES". Dr. Rinck adds: "Our Life Science segment is developing extremely favorably this year with the orders for Decorative Coatings and several orders for Medical Technology and proves the potential for these application areas targeted by the machines offered by SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES."

After the successful installation of machines of the MEDLINE type for a site in Asia, this is the continuation of the cooperation and further development of the MEDLINE. The processing machine by SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES cleans contact lenses from residues and subsequently coats the lenses in the course of an additional processing step. 

For medical technology, in addition to the production machines for wet-chemical processes, SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES also offers methods of vacuum coating technology. With its innovative processes SINGULUS TECHNOLOGIES meets the GMP ("Good Manufacturing Practice") and thus the international rules and regulations. Furthermore, the machines meet the high demands of medical technology.
