Rosenbauer International AG: Rosenbauer Group gradually ramps up IT again after cyber attack
Leonding (pta029/08.03.2023/12:12 UTC+1)
Since the beginning of the week, the Rosenbauer Group has been gradually ramping up its IT infrastructure again, which was temporarily shut down as a precautionary measure after a cyber attack between February 21 and 23. Over the past few days, a task force of external and internal experts has investigated all business units and analyzed the course of events and the extent of the damage caused by the attack. Work on fixing the individual problems is proceeding at full speed under the strictest security precautions, and all IT systems should be available again next week.
"Although it will still take some time before we return to smooth operations, we have already passed some important milestones this week for the secure the restoration of our IT systems. I would like to thank my colleagues in our IT division, who have worked long hours here, and all employees for their patience under these difficult working conditions," says Sebastian Wolf, CEO of Rosenbauer International AG.
