conwert Immobilien Invest SE: S&P Assigned a 'BBB-' Preliminary Investment Grade Rating with Stable Outlook to conwert

Vienna (pta023/09.09.2015/15:30 UTC+2) conwert Immobilien Invest SE ("conwert"), traded on the Austrian ATX, announces that on 8 September 2015 S&P assigned a 'BBB-' preliminary long-term corporate credit rating to conwert. The outlook is stable.

S&P highlights in its report among others conwert's sound residential portfolio in Germany and Austria with favourable market dynamics and conwert's improved credit metrics following the restructuring of interest swap contracts in 2014 and 2015 YTD.

Wolfgang Beck, CEO of conwert: "The preliminary investment grade rating shows the good progress of our refinancing programme and it is an important step on the way to improve conwert's positioning."

The final rating will depend on a successful benchmark senior unsecured bond issuance that conwert is envisaging depending on market conditions.

Thomas Doll, CFO of conwert: "With the preliminary investment grade rating, conwert successfully accomplished another milestone of conwert's comprehensive financing optimisation programme, allowing us to access public debt markets and facilitating the reduction of conwert's cost of debt from currently 3.91% to levels closer to peers."
