Notification of Major Holdings

HAUCK & AUFHÄUSER FUND SERVICES S.A., Munsbach/ Luxembourg informed us pursuant to section 43 para. 1 WpHG on 22 August 2023 of the following:

1. Objectives of the acquisition (Sec. 43 (1) Sentence 3 WpHG)

a. The purchase was made for the account of the investment funds managed by us and is intended to make a positive performance contribution.

b. On August 18, 2023, the reporting threshold of 10% of the voting rights was exceeded. Currently, we hold a total of 1,656,248 shares, 10.02% of the voting rights, for the account of our special funds. HAFS does not intend at the present time, but by no means rules out for the future, to acquire further voting rights directly or indirectly within the next 12 months. Depending on the share price, further voting rights could be acquired by purchase or otherwise within the next 12 months.

c. We do not seek to influence the composition of the Supervisory Board and Management Board of Koenig & Bauer AG, Würzburg.

d. No aims to significantly change the current policy of the Supervisory Board and Management Board of Koenig & Bauer AG, Würzburg, with regard to the capital structure, the relationship between equity and debt financing and the dividend policy.

2. Origin of funds (Section 43 (1) Sentence 4 WpHG)
The voting rights were exercised for the account of the funds managed by us through the exclusive use of borrowed funds.
