Brocade stellt neues Wireless Mobility Solution Set vor
München (pts015/15.10.2009/11:14) Brocade stellt das neue Brocade Mobility 802.11 Wireless LAN (WLAN) Produktportfolio vor. Die Palette umfasst eine komplette Linie an hochverfügbaren und sicheren Wireless Switchen sowie Dual- und Tri-Radio 802.11n Access Points (AP). Das neue Brocade Mobility 802.11n Lösungs-Set basiert auf den bereits mit einem Preis-ausgezeichneten 802.11a/b/g/n Adaptive Access Points (APs) sowie denWireless Switches/Controllern für hohe Bandbreiten und zuverlässige Abdeckung von Motorola.
Das umfassende Portfolio an Wireless LAN (WLAN) Infrastrukturlösungen ist für große Konzerne mit weltweit verteilten Geschäftseinheiten ebenso geeignet wie für kleinere und mittlere Unternehmen. Die Suite bietet Internet Protocoll (IP) an allen Orten, sowohl im Gebäude als auch im Freien. Die Lösungen reduzieren zudem die Kosten für die Entwicklung und den Betrieb der Netzwerke in allen Bereichen eines Unternehmens.
Das Tri-Radio Design der Motorola APs verfügt über einen WIPS Sensor für eine ununterbrochene 24X7 Sicherheit und eliminiert mehrfache Hardware-Zukäufe sowie eine zusätzliche Verkabelung. Das Set beinhaltet umfangreiche Features wie adaptive AP Technologie für die Resiliency, Real-Time Location System (RTLS) für das Asset Tracking, SMART RF Management für dynamische Adressänderungen in der RF Umgebung sowie eine Wireless Firewall für den Schutz der Layer 2 and 3. Das Management erfolgt über das Brocade INM Network Management System.

Die Produktpalette wird ab Dezember 2009 über das Brocade Channel-Netzwerk erhältlich sein.
Beide Unternehmen gaben zudem eine strategische Kooperation bekannt, in der Brocade und Motorola gemeinsam an Produkten für LAN (WLAN), Voice-Over- WLAN, Mobile Unified Communications/Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC), Cloud Computing und Wireless Breutbandtechnologien arbeiten.
