DEBUT LAUNCH OF ADVERTISING FESTIVAL IN PARIS
"The Advertising Festival" to open in September 2003
Margate/Paris (pts007/01.04.2003/10:15) September 2003 will mark the launch of The Advertising Festival http://www.theadvertisingfstival.com , which runs from September 2nd to 5th and is to take place in and around Disneyland Resort Paris, and where specially designed "Advertising Villages" will be constructed for this extraordinary event.
The Advertising Festival is the brainchild of Media Entrepreneur Carl Tooney, who supported by a team of media professionals, is responsible for the organisation of this World Advertising Event. "All mediums rely on advertising revenue to survive and to my knowledge there has never been a festival bringing together all forms of media from TV, radio, all press from magazines, to Sunday supplements and national newspapers and all outdoor opportunities," commented Tooney. "The Advertising Festival Market is a showcase for the client, agency and creative to see all the new and traditional advertising opportunities available to them worldwide," said Tooney.
The first of its kind to be held in Europe, this exceptional annual event is set to attract delegates worldwide, as the Festival will provide an extremely unusual platform for professionals involved in all aspects of media to examine the numerous advertising initiatives and concepts from across the globe under one roof. This event is poised to become an encyclopaedic catalyst for anyone involved with or contemplating the future of advertising - a unique haven where new innovative ideas and existing expertise will merge.
The inauguration of the Festival will commence with an elaborate Welcome Party open to all accredited delegates and exhibitors. Set in the heart of New York Hotel Time Square, the opening night festivities will be a night to remember. In addition, the Festival will include a market featuring exhibitors from all industries including travel, sports, consumer manufacturers, new media and technology, publishing, entertainment, and many more. They will be given the chance to display their latest products and technology, which will pave the way for the future of advertising.
Over the course of four days, attendees will be able to access a series of screenings highlighting the crème de la crème of Adverts selected from territories across the globe, which will be accompanied by a detailed analysis on their success and why the judges have nominated these adverts for The Advertising Festival's prestigious TAF Award. Leading figures in the business world and blue-chip companies will participate in a host of symposiums, panel discussions, presentations, and networking sessions, focusing on issues such as revenue streams, technology, forecasting the future of advertising, customer demands, etc. These representatives will participate from all industries covering manufacturing, broadcast and media, leisure and many other areas where advertising is central to the growth of their business.
The TAF Awards Ceremony will take place in recognition of those individuals who have demonstrated the importance of innovative advertising, showcasing their creations and concepts that have changed the face of advertising over the years. This Awards presentation will take place during an extravagant "black tie" gala evening on the final day of the festival. Press covering all industries will be invited, to include Broadcast, Radio, Broadsheets, trade and consumer publications. Journalists will be able to take advantage of a specially designed Press Area, providing all the necessary facilities. There will be a special area for press photos and press conferences for exhibitors and delegates to promote their latest news to the international media.
