The breathtaking artworks of Sophia Schendl will be on display this August at the SWISSARTEXPO art festival

Zürich, Switzerland (ptp027/07.08.2019/14:00) The artist Sophia Schendl, born in Germany in 1992, announced today that her artworks had been accepted by the creative committee of the SWISSARTEXPO art festival. Various of her works will be shown both digitally and in their original form during the exhibition period. The exhibition will take place from 15th to 19th August 2019 in Zurich's Central Station building. Around 400,000 visitors are expected.
Sophia Schendl already had a first connection to art in her early childhood. Her father encouraged her to paint, as art was a great passion for him. Even then, the now 27-year- old noticed that for her art had a deeper meaning than bringing just paint onto a canvas. She found a place in art to process her experiences. Especially after the early death of her mother, art gave her a lot of strength. Looking at the works of Sophia Schendl, it quickly becomes clear how much passion she has in her artistic work. Her works are loaded with emotions and convey a powerful impression. The artist convinces with her skillful use of colours and contrasts, which are able to immediately attract the viewer's attention. Her own style is able to stand out from the crowd and arouses curiosity.
Her two original paintings "Bullshit" and "2Faced" will be exhibited at the SWISSARTEXPO. Patricia Zenklusen, founder of SWISSARTEXPO, comments: "We are very much looking forward to presenting Sophia Schendl's paintings at the SWISSARTEXPO. She is a young, talented artist whose works will certainly be very well received by our visitors".
