RosaLi proves her artistic talent in her extraordinary works at the SWISSARTEXPO 2020
From 20 - 24 August her works will be presented digitally at Zurich Main Station
Zurich (ptp031/03.08.2020/12:00) The artist RosaLi announces today that her artworks will be presented digitally at the SWISSARTEXPO from 20 - 24 August 2020 in Zurich's main station. The SWISSARTEXPO is an art festival where artists of all styles come together to create a varied and colourful exhibition in one of the most visited halls in Europe in the heart of Zurich.
For RosaLi, art is a valuable instrument to express her deepest inner self and to process personal experiences. With the motto: "My soul paints the pictures of my soul. A language that cannot be painted with words", the autodidactic artist creates enchanting acrylic paintings and occasionally combines them with other materials, such as putty, and various painting techniques.
RosaLi describes the medium of artistic creation as home, island and her language - a symbiosis of her emotions, sensuality and silence in connection with the spirit, materials and forms, which eventually creates something wonderful. Every new creation is for her a journey to herself, a learning process and balm for the soul.
Growing up in the GDR, the artist quickly freed herself from social constraints and escaped from her everyday life through her paintings. Floristry offered her a harmonious way out and had a significant influence on her art. Art became her harbour, her own imaginative world, in which she processed reality and thus always found her way back to herself.
In the works "Lady with hat at longing place", "Corona horrors in the world" and "in your thoughts", exhibited in their original form at the SWISSARTEXPO, she deals with contemporary themes and shows the viewer which strokes of fate and environmental influences she has recently experienced. Despite the darker colouring and the omission of playful elements, her paintings provide the creator as well as the viewer with a precious peace and a touch of hope. Influenced by the art of Frida Kahlo and using silver, gold, copper and platinum colour accents, RosaLi skillfully brings her pains, dreams and longings to the canvas.
More of her creations will be featured in her new art catalogue, which will be on display for visitors on site and provide an even deeper insight into her diverse repertoire.
