This year, visitors of the SWISSARTEXPO can look forward to an outstanding photographic portrayal of everyday life. Jeff Sheel will be exhibiting his captivating photographic art in both its original and digital form in the wonderful ambience of Zurich's main railway station from 24 - 28 August. You can expect an unvarnished confrontation with reality in a detailed and professional photographic art.
Unadorned, without filters and mercilessly honest - this is how US-born artist Jeff Sheel passionately captures moments, situations and snapshots of life. His wonderful photographs show the world unvarnished with all its facets and destinies, telling an individual story with each shot. The artist does not allow himself to be restricted in his choice of motifs - this quickly becomes apparent when examining his works. The photographer skillfully captures old and young faces, happy and sad moments, harmonious and questionable situations, and is thus able to share not only a picture, but a whole world bound to a story with his audience. Whether sensuality, pleasure, sorrow or suffering - the mood of these photographic masterpieces stands out from the ranks in every case.
In the halls of Zurich's lively main railway station, Sheel finds a perfectly fitting ambience for his art. "We are very much looking forward to having Jeff Sheel as one of our exhibitors this year. His interesting and emotionally charged photographs will meet with great interest among our visitors - we are convinced of that. The courage he shows in addressing some of the taboo subjects of our society will certainly be an important topic of conversation among the viewers," - says Patricia Zenklusen, CVO of the SWISSARTEXPO.
From 24 - 28 August 2022, visitors to the art exhibition are invited to enjoy a fantastic original work by Jeff Sheel. Additional works will also be presented digitally as part of the ARTBOX.PROJECT Zurich 4.0. Interested visitors will also have the unique opportunity to browse through the artist's art catalogue created especially for this exhibition, which provides an even deeper insight into his artistic work.
