IDS Scheer übernimmt mit Groupe Expert führendes westeuropäisches Beratungshaus

IDS Scheer baut Marktposition in Westeuropa aus

Das internationale Beratungs- und Softwareunternehmen IDS Scheer übernimmt die französische Beratungsgruppe Groupe Expert S.A., Paris zu 100 Prozent. Mit Niederlassungen in Frankreich, Belgien, Luxemburg und der französischen Schweiz zählt Groupe Expert zu den führenden Beratungshäusern im westeuropäischen Raum. Die Beratungsgruppe arbeitet seit Jahren profitabel und zeichnet sich durch Wachstumsstärke aus. Für das Geschäftsjahr 2003 rechnet das Beratungsunternehmen mit einem Umsatz von nahezu 20 Mio. EUR und einem operativen Ergebnis von mehr als 2 Mio. EUR. In 2002 wurde bereits eine Ergebnis-Marge von über 10% erzielt. Groupe Expert fokussiert seine Leistungen auf Kunden im Mittelstand und im oberen Marktsegment. Dabei liegt ein deutlicher Schwerpunkt der Beratungsleistungen im SAP-Umfeld. Für IDS Scheer handelt es sich um eine Übernahme mit hohem strategischen Wert. Durch die Akquisition soll die Marktposition in Westeuropa deutlich ausgebaut werden. IDS Scheer rollt mit Groupe Expert aber auch seine Mittelstandsinitiative, die bereits in Nord- und Südamerika mit großem Erfolg gestartet ist, nach Europa aus.
Die 1992 gegründete Groupe Expert verfügt über eine starke Kundenbasis. Zu den Kunden zählen zum Beispiel Arcelor, GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals, Péchiney, Viessmann, Rolex, RTL Group, DEXIA bank, Bridgestone Firestone Europe, Lhoist, AIB Vincotte, AGFA Gevaert, ALSTOM sowie führende Mittelstandsunternehmen wie Arkopharma, Ruget, Sucreries Erstein, De Dietrich, Fould Springer.
Das Unternehmen hat sich auf umfassende Beratungsleistungen und SAP-Implementierungen spezialisiert. Groupe Expert wird mit seinen branchenspezifisch vorkonfigurierten Lösungen (RITS - Rapid Installation Tools & Services) die eine schnelle Einführung und einen schnellen Return on Investment sicherstellen, auch von kleinen und mittelständischen Unternehmen stark nachgefragt.
Neben den Büros in Paris, Lyon und Straßburg hat Groupe Expert Tochtergesellschaften in Belgien, Luxemburg und der französischen Schweiz - insgesamt verfügt IDS Scheer damit über mehr als 200 Mitarbeiter in diesen Ländern. Die erfolgreiche Integration von Groupe Expert in die IDS Scheer Gruppe hat für IDS Scheer höchste Priorität und ist somit Vorstandssache - Vorstandssprecher Dr. Ferri Abolhassan wird diesen Prozess verantwortlich leiten. Die beiden Gesellschafter und Geschäftsführer von Groupe Expert, Vincent Simioni und Khalil Hodaibi, werden zusammen mit dem bisherigen Frankreich-Chef von IDS Scheer, Amir Hosseini das neu gegründete Management Board von IDS Scheer Western Europe bilden. Den Vorsitz dieses Boards übernimmt Dr. Ferri Abolhassan.

IDS Scheer Takes Over Groupe Expert, Leading Western European Consulting Firm
IDS Scheer Expands Market Position in Western Europe

International consulting and software firm IDS Scheer acquires a 100% interest in Groupe Expert S.A., a French consulting group based in Paris. With offices in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and French-speaking Switzerland, Groupe Expert is among the leading consulting firms in Western Europe. The consulting group has been profitable for many years and is distinguished by strong growth. The consulting company anticipates revenue of nearly 20 million EUR and an operating profit of over 2 million EUR for fiscal year 2003, having achieved a gross profit margin of over 10% in 2002. Groupe Expert focuses its services on mid-sized clients and upper market segments, with a clear emphasis on consulting services in the SAP environment. This acquisition holds great strategic value for IDS Scheer: It will significantly expand the company's position in Western Europe.
