POWER-GEN Asia 2005 announces impressive conference line up and opening ceremony

Singapore (pts011/07.09.2005/09:30) PennWell Corporation, organizers of POWER-GEN Asia 2005 conference and exhibition announce an impressive line up for the opening ceremony. Senior officials from the state power utilities, industrial leaders and government dignitaries will join: Mr Roy Adair, President and CEO of Senoko Power Ltd (Singapore); Mr Neil McGregor, Managing Director of PowerSereya Ltd; Mr Lim Kong Puay, President and CEO of Tuas Power Ltd; and Mr Junior Isles, Publisher and Editorial Director of PennWell Corporation's Global Energy Group.
The Keynote Ceremony, Chaired by Mr Junior Isles, will address Asia's energy and power strategies. The POWER-GEN Asia "Question Time" will discuss the topic "How secure is Asia's energy future?". The panel consists of industry leaders such as: Neil McGregor - PowerSereya Ltd; Jeremy Bowden - HIS Energy; Eddie Widiono - PT PLN (Persero); Mike Nikkel - CLP Power Asia Ltd; and Magued Aldaief - GE Energy.
PennWell Corporation, organizers also announce that the pre-registrations for POWER-GEN Asia 2005 have already exceeded the total number of pre-registrations from 2002. This was the last time that the event was in Singapore.
With over 4,500 attendees expected and with 400 delegates to the conference, 147 exhibitors on an exhibit floor spread over 2,234 sqm, POWER-GEN Asia is on course to consolidate the huge growth it had in 2004.
